Activate Your Certification

Congratulations on passing the CDM, CFPP Credentialing Exam!

Now that you have passed the exam, you must take the next step of activating your CDM, CFPP credential within one year of the date that you passed the exam. Failure to do so will result in your certification being terminated. To be eligible for certified status again, you must submit a new exam application with fees for CBDM review and approval, meet the current eligibility requirements, and receive a passing score on the exam. 

You are not certified until you activate your certification.

Activate your certification and join the ranks of CDM, CFPPs. To keep your certification active, you must pay the annual certification fee and meet the recertification requirements. You cannot begin earning and reporting continuing education (CE) hours toward the recertification requirements until you activate your certification. You can only complete and report CE hours while your certification is active.

• If you are an ANFP member when you pass the exam and maintain your Professional membership with ANFP through the following May 31, you will automatically be upgraded to certified status, with the initial certification fee waived one time. 

• If you are not an ANFP member when you pass the exam, you may choose to activate your credential as a member or non-member. You must activate your certification within one year of the date that you passed the exam. Failure to do so will result in your certification being terminated. 

Certified Professional Member Fees

Half year dues (including certification fees) if joining between December 1 & March 31:
$121.00 ($51 ANFP membership dues, $60 certification fee, $10 one-time application fee). 

Full year dues (including certification fees) if joining between April 1 & November 30:
$170.00 ($100 membership dues, $60 certification fee, $10 one-time application fee). 

For all subsequent years, the annual certification fee for ANFP members is $60.00 when paid on time. Late fees are additional.
